Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod 9th Annual Ride for Homes
US Coast Guard Station at the Cape Cod Canal in Sandwich
Sponsored by KAM Appliance. Participants can choose from three cycling routes or two walk/run options. The 50-mile ride begins at 7:00 a.m. and departs for the Shining Sea Bike Path from North Falmouth to Woods Hole and back. At 9:00 a.m., the 20-mile ride departs for Mashnee Island, and the 14-mile ride begins along the Cape Cod Canal. The 5K and 10K run or walk will take place along the Cape Cod Canal. Registration is now open, all proceeds support Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod in building affordable homes with local families and volunteers. Visitors will also enjoy exploring the natural beauty of the Nye Museum grounds including the old fish hatchery trail, colonial herb garden, and Nye stream.
Annual Wildflower Garden Plant Sale

Come by and select from a limited number of wildflowers dug from the nature center’s award-winning garden. Also offered are perennials, annuals, small ornamental trees and shrubs. All sale proceeds help support maintenance of this special garden for all to enjoy!
