Thanksgiving Dinners For Home-Bound Mashpee Residents

DATE: Wednesday, November 25
The Mashpee Chamber of Commerce will organize and deliver Thanksgiving Dinners to home-bound Mashpee residents in need again this year. To request a meal, please call the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce at 508-477-0792 with the name, phone number, and address of the person in need of a meal. The cut-off for requests is Friday, November 20th. Meals will be delivered on Wednesday, November 25th. Exact times will be decided based on the need for meals. Individuals and business interested in sponsoring should contact Katy Acheson, Executive Assistant of the Mashpee Chamber, at 508-477-0792 or by emailing: Volunteer to deliver meals by calling Katy at 508-477-0792. Volunteer needs may vary depending on the number of meals being delivered.


“Adopt a Family” for the Holidays

LOCATION: To benefit families on the lower and outer Cape
You can help bring joy and surprise to a child or family in need this holiday season by joining the Homeless Prevention Council in their Adopt-A-Family program. So many families need help more than ever this year and HPC is here to bring a little sunshine in these challenging and uncertain times. HPC matches donors with children and families who are in. It could be clothing, toys, a gift card, a bicycle, or one special gift. If life gets too busy, donations are welcome and special volunteer “moms” will do the shopping. To participate, contact Maureen, our Adopt-A-Family coordinator at 774-801-9501 starting on Monday, November 2nd or at leaving name and phone number.
Starting November 18 through December 1 from 10:30am to 1:30pm, the HPC’s Santa’s Workshop will be open at the Skaket Corners Plaza, Orleans in the former Hallmark store to receive gifts and donations. For further information about HPC and the Adopt-A-Family program please visit

Bayside Bright Lights Celebration!

Brewster Recreation is partnering with other Town departments as well as a handful of local businesses to create a wonderful Holiday celebration. This new event will consist of a drive around the Eddy School with Christmas lights, Holiday themed inflatables, winter themed lawn decorations, lit up police cars and fire engines, and of course….Santa! Although you will not be able to sit on his lap and talk to him, you can give him a wave when you drive by. Please bring your Christmas wish list to put in the North Pole mail box for Santa. And don’t forget to grab your goody bag on the way out.

Mid Cape Home Center's Grateful Gobble Giveback for Local Foodbanks

In honor of Mid-Cape's 125 years in business, they will be donating
$1.25 of every single customer purchase to local foodbanks for the holiday season. While Mid-Cape is
hoping this will shed light on the overwhelming gratitude they have towards their communities' support
and understanding through this challenging year, they also are encouraging customers to match or
donate. Mid-Cape anticipates another large donation of over $10,000 for the foodbanks from this
Gobble Giveback.

Lights on Pilgrim Monument

The spectacular 252-foot tall Pilgrim Monument dazzles the night sky with thousands of white lights, celebrating the Pilgrims’ First Landing in Provincetown in November 1620. Traditionally, the illumination of the Monument occurs the evening before Thanksgiving Day, and the lights continue to shine through the first week of January.

Annual Glassblowers' Christmas

Santa Comes to the Fish Pier

Christmas in Harwich

This weekend in Harwich begins with the Harwich Port Stroll where locals and visitors join together for the tree lighting ceremony and caroling. Also on Friday evening, have your photo taken with Santa (he arrives by fire truck), and take a horse-drawn carriage ride through Harwich Port. The rest of the weekend includes merchant open houses, village stroll, music, refreshments, and plenty more.

Twelve Days of Christmas Stroll in Historic Bass River
