Pumpkin People in the Park

Travel & Leisure Magazine listed Chatham as the 4th in America’s Best Towns for Halloween, citing the Chatham Merchants’ Association’s Oktoberfest & Pumpkin People in the Park. A fabulous event where our members Chatham local businesses, and others create unique and fascinating display with Pumpkins. Every year the creativity gets better and better.

Graveyard Lantern Tours

The Harwich Historical Society will offer Graveyard Lantern Tours for the spooky season. Costumed characters from Harwich’s past tell their stories on this walking tour through the gravestones. Ghost Stories of Centerville Village

The Haunting of Hill House

A chilling and mystifying study in mounting terror in which a small group of “psychically receptive” people are brought together in Hill House, a brooding, mid-Victorian mansion known as a place of evil and “contained ill will.” Led by the learned Dr. Montague, who is conducting research in supernatural phenomena, the visitors have come to probe the secrets of the old house and to draw forth the mysterious powers that it is alleged to possess—powers which have brought madness and death to those who have lived therein in the past. This show does include characters drinking, scares and talk of suicide and murder. The Wacky Witches Garden Party

Each year the Sandwich Glass Museum challenges local glass artists to craft one-lf-a-kind or limited edition creations. Ranging from the petite to large scale and in hues from the classic orange to multi-color, there will be an exciting array. All pumpkins will be available for purchase. Remember first come, first serve, so come early, then enjoy a visit to the Sandwich Glass Museum and watch our glassblower make pumpkins in our glassblowing area.

The Great Pumpkin Hunt & Halloween Extravaganza

Join us on this hunt for the “Great Pumpkin” presented by Powderhorn Press. We’ve revamped our event to offer even more Halloween fun and excitement. We will have 2&3 year olds with parents, and 4-6 year olds hunt for their eggs in different waves to ensure fairness. One lucky child from each age group will find the egg with the “GREAT” Pumpkin Coin and win our “GREAT” Pumpkin prize. Giant Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkins of all sizes are available through Halloween at the annual Pumpkin Patch that is sponsored by the Bourne, Cataumet and West Falmouth United Methodist parishes.
