This program is unique as it focuses on substance use treatment through intensive counseling and access to primary care services, but also addresses many of the other areas in patients’ lives, which might interfere with individual recovery such as access to employment, housing, food assistance and more.  Learn to Cope is a non-profit support network that offers education, resources, peer support and hope for parents and family members coping with a loved one addicted to opiates or other drugs. The organization has grown to include over 7000 members as of August 2015, and has become a nationally recognized model for peer support and prevention programming. The Widow’s War Tour of Satucket (Brewster) Village for the final time in 2019. Seats available only on the afternoon tour on Sept. 26. The 3-hour tour is scripted by Sally Gunning and based on her acclaimed historical novel, The Widow’s War. There will be four stops at historic locations and a book signing by the author. Cape Cod Climate Strike

The Cape Cod Climate Strike is an initiative created by local high school students to show our community’s support for transformative climate action. As a coastal community, we must stand in solidarity with younger generations who will have to face the consequences of today's political inaction in regards to combating climate change. This public demonstration will be in the format of a rally where students, teachers, scientists, musicians, and politically involved individuals from our community will discuss their concerns and demands for a more progressive and green future.

4th Annual Ruck4HIT 5K

We are raising funds for Heroes in Transition which provide services to veterans, active duty military, and military families through a range of programs that includes: a Canine Co-Pilot Program; equine therapy through its Families In Transition (FIT) Week; a Fall Couples Retreat; bimonthly outings for military couples; bimonthly outings for veterans; bimonthly outings for military spouses; financial support; fishing excursions; and more. Kennedy Legacy Trail

Celebrates the significant role the Kennedy¹s played in shaping the history of Hyannis and Cape Cod. The 1.6 mile trail consists of 10 informational signs that are placed at key locations from Main Street to the harbor, finishing up at the JFK Memorial at Veteran¹s Beach Each stop provides a brief history of the site and its significance to the Kennedy¹s and their life on Cape Cod. Visitors along the trail can retrieve additional information by accessing the QR code or dialing the number on each sign. Follow the blue sail stencils on the sidewalks leading the way to each stop.
