Bicycle Club and Group Ride

LOCATION: Brooks Park, Oak Street, Harwich (by the tennis courts)
A group bike ride leaving Brooks Park on Oak Street (next to Monomoy Regional High School) at 1:00 p.m. We are calling this weekly ride "Bicycle Club", and it's geared toward people who maybe haven't been on a bicycle in a while. It's a "no-drop ride", which means nobody gets left behind! The ride is open to anyone with a working bicycle and a helmet. We are hoping younger riders join older riders for a ride along the beautiful Cape Cod Rail Trail and Old Colony Rail Trail.

Mashpee Wampanoag "People of the Light" Powwow

Kennedy Legacy Trail

LOCATION: Brochures and maps will be available at the JFK Museum on MainStreet, Hyannis 
Celebrates the significant role the Kennedy¹s played in shaping the history of Hyannis and Cape Cod. The 1.6 mile trail consists of 10 informational signs that are placed at key locations from Main Street to the harbor, finishing up at the JFK Memorial at Veteran¹s Beach Each stop provides a brief history of the site and its significance to the Kennedy¹s and their life on Cape Cod. Visitors along the trail can retrieve additional information by accessing the QR code or dialing the number on each sign. Tuesday Wildflower Garden Walks

DATE: Tuesdays thru August 29, 11am
LOCATION: Green Briar Nature Center, 6 Discovery Hill Road, East Sandwich
There are over 300 plants in the one-third acre that comprises the garden, which consists naturally of three zones: shaded hillside, wetlands and sunny meadow. All plants were chosen to ensure color and interest throughout the growing season. This is a drop in program, and advance registration is not required. The fee is $5 for non-members, $3 for members.
